LOVETTSVILLE VIRGINIA IN THE SNOW DECEMBER 19, 3009, 8:15 a.m.  10 inches and still falling.

The snow is finally here in Lovettsville, Virginia.  Northwestern Loudoun County is far enough to the west that I was hoping for a light accumulation.   This is somewhat a pattern for storms from the south.

Not this time, we are about 10 inches of the white stuff and counting.

The snow started to fall at about 8:00 p.m. last evening, fell all night and is still falling and is predicted to fall all day into the evening hours. 

  • Temperature:  23 F.
  • Wind 7 Miles Per Hour North
